EUDAMED's bulk upload accepts structured XML files — up to 300 entities per file — built to a specific schema the European Commission publishes but doesn't provide tools to generate. Most manufacturers start in Excel, where their product data already lives, and then face the gap between "data in a spreadsheet" and "XML EUDAMED will actually accept."

What format does EUDAMED bulk upload require?
EUDAMED accepts XML files built to its published schema, submitted through the Bulk Upload function in your EUDAMED account — up to 300 device entities per file.
Can I bulk upload legacy (MDD/AIMDD) devices?
Yes. Legacy device data follows a different set of required fields than MDR devices; EUDAbridge validates against the correct rule set for each.
What happens if part of my batch has errors?
EUDAMED processes each record independently, so one invalid row doesn't reject the entire batch — but you still need to identify and refile it. Validating before upload catches these errors upfront instead.
